MGM Grand to Host Manny Pacquiao-Floyd Mayweather Fight

It’s confirmed!

The fight the boxing world has been waiting for looks to have finally found a venue. Manny Pacquiao and Floyd Mayweather will fight on March 13 at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas, AOL Fanhouse reports.

According to Fanhouse’s sources with knowledge of the decision, "It’s the MGM. It’s definite."

Earlier this week, the MGM Grand and Cowboys Stadium were narrowed down as the finalists for the megabout that is projected to be one of the highest grossing fights in history. Cowboys owner Jerry Jones is said to have offered $25 million to host the fight, but the promoters for the bout decided the MGM could beat that offer.

Pacquiao and Mayweather have agreed in principle with all of the fight deal’s negotiation parameters. These include a 50-50 financial split, competition at the 147-pound limit, eight-ounce gloves and an Olympic-style random drug test at the request of Mayweather’s camp.

This is going to be sooooo good! Fight of the decade!
