See Dev Patel in M. Night Shyamalan’s “The Last Airbender”

Dev Patel has been hard at work shooting M. Night Shyamalan’s latest fantasy flick “The Last Airbender.”

The adventure action film is based on the series, “Avatar: The Last Airbender,” and it tells the story of Aang, played by Noah Ringer, a boy from an ‘air-bending’ tribe who tries to unite the other ‘elemental’ tribes in his fight against the tyrannical tribe Fire Nation.

M. Night Shyamalan has previously directed Hollywood movies like the box-office hit “The Sixth Sense” and the 2008 sci-fi thriller “The Happening.” The movie stars funnyman Aasif Mandvi from The Daily Show with Jon Stewart as Commander Zhao, “Slumdog Millionaire” star Dev Patel as Zuko, as well as “Twilight” and “New Moon” actor Jackson Rathbone, Cliff Curtis, Nicola Peltz and Jessica Andres.
