Jackie Chan’s latest film is a kung fu edition, starring Will Smith‘s kid Jaden, for “The Karate Kid” franchise, and Jackie wanted Rain to be a part of it.
Rain’s company, J-tune Entertainment, released a statement on May 18th about the upcoming project for the drunken master himself. It stated Rain and Jackie are good friends and Jackie recommended they work on a MV for “The Karate Kid”. Who knew? I wonder if Jackie is Rain’s inspiration in the US movie market?
Rain and Jackie decided to use his latest single “Hip Song” for the music video.
The MV, which will be released on May 20th, will help advertise the ”The Karate Kid” to Korean audiences.
