Jay Sean Drops Official Video – 2012 (It Aint The End)
It’s all about celebrating life to the max in Jay Sean’s latest hit single, “2012 (It Ain’t The End).” After climbing up the iTunes charts in its first week to an incredible #16, scorching the airwaves and clubs, the official video for the track is out now on VEVO.
Citing the mythic prophecy predicting that the world will end in the year 2012, Jay Sean felt inspired to write a song calling people across the world to celebrate every moment like it was your last, while at the same time stressing that actually, “it ain’t the end of the world!”
In the video, along with it girl rapper of the moment and label mate, Nicki Minaj, Jay Sean jet sets across the globe to the world’s poshest party capitals: New York City, London and Tokyo. In each location he enters the sexiest clubs and encourages people to ‘party like it’s the end of the world.’ “2012 (It Aint The End)” ends with Jay doing what makes him feel most alive, performing on stage. The track encourages people to actually live life without fear. Jay Sean’s rocket to success in North America is an example of what happens when you live life that way.
Fans get a sneak peak of “Break Ya Back,” Jay Sean’s next single from his second Cash Money album, Freeze Time at the end of the “2012 (It Aint The End)” video. “Break Ya Back” is slated for release in mid September and is a return to Jay Sean’s more urban style. “Break Ya Back” is produced by new signee to Orange Factory Music, Israel Cruz along with co-production from Jay himself.
The support from Jay Sean’s South Asian fans catapulted his first U.S. single, “Down,” to number one on the American Billboard and iTunes Charts. Jay, who is extremely passionate about the South Asian movement credits his success to the love and support of his fans who have been down with him from day one. The movement continues with “2012 (It Ain’t The End)” and the South Asian masses have the opportunity once again to rally behind the man that brought his community to the main stage by purchasing the record on iTunes and requesting at their local radio stations. Lets do it again!
