Jason Wu Graces the Cover of Vogue

Celebrating his return to Taiwan, Jason Wu is on the cover of the October issue of Vogue Taiwan with Lisanne De Jong.

Wu went back to his birth country this month for his brother’s wedding, which he designed both the wedding gown and the bridesmaid’s dresses.

His arrival in Taiwan has caused a huge frenzy. This is the first time he’s been back in four years. His popularity has him being recognized everywhere and legions of fans and paparazzi have been following him.

The cover features pieces from his Resort collection and was shot by Chiun-Kai Shih. Wu’s collection was given a six-page spread and featured one of Wu’s favorite models, Kate Fogarty. It was shot at the St. Regis Hotel, Wu’s favorite hotel in Taiwan.

In the magazine’s style blog, there was a hint of a surprise to come. Perhaps another photo spread? An exclusive collaboration? They’re keeping mum but we’ve got our eyes and ears out for the upcoming surprise.
