Secrets of Seduction
When it comes to love and relationships, there’s a fundamental rule that Mother Nature would like all of us to remember
and respect. It’s the rule that in any relationship, the MAN has to be the head of the household.
In other words, the men are supposed to take charge, and we take a quieter, complementing role.
WE SECRETLY WANT MEN TO TAKE CHARGE (I know I do!)
Where Things Go Wrong But somewhere down the line, things started changing. All of a sudden, women
stopped encouraging men to take charge. (Courtesy of Gloria Steinem & Co.)All of a sudden, women realized that they could do anything that men could do
in the real world. We began to hold CEO positions, start huge companies, create enduring humanitarian efforts, and more.
And that’s fine. In fact, that’s great.
What’s NOT great is that we started thinking that if we could take charge of things in the real world, we could do it in our relationships, too.
Big mistake, obviously!
Today, divorce rates are soaring. I’m seeing 9 out of 10 new relationships end within months of starting. And breakups
are getting more and more ridiculous and embarrassing.
Ladies, we DO need to pick up the pace when it comes to our jobs, our businesses, our community services…
everything OUTSIDE the relationship. But when it comes to dealing with the men in our lives, we actually need to do the opposite, slow down a bit, and let HIM take the lead.
Fortunately, that doesn’t mean we have to blend into the background while he has all the fun. Taking a quieter, more complementary role can actually be enjoyable
WHERE SEDUCTION COMES IN One of the most basic forms of seduction is by speaking in his language, or by approaching a situation from his context.
Here’s a very simple example — getting
him a new tie. If you get him a tie that YOU think will look good on him, he’s going to thank you for it.
But when you get him a tie that you know HE’LL like, he’ll LOVE you for it!
It can sound like a very silly seduction trick, but it results in a WORLD of difference.
Remember that while it’s perfectly okay these days to “take charge” of your life and your career, it still isn’t our
place to “take charge” of the relationship.
That’s HIS job.
But your role is equally important. You’re meant to support him, category_ide him, and nurture him — so that he can fulfill his duties to you, to the relationship, and to the kids you’ll
have one day, MUCH more effectively.
And, yes, seduction is the powerful, effective, and ENJOYABLE way to do it!
