Facebook creator Mark Zuckerberg is engaged to his long time girlfriend Priscilla Chan, his friend Bill Gates has hinted.

The Microsoft founder has suggested that Mark, 27, has asked Chan to marry him.

The 55-year-old spilled the beans on his pal’s potential nuptials when talking about how Zuckerberg decided to give $100 million to Newark’s beleaguered school system last year.

He told British newspaper the Mail on Sunday: ‘I didn’t say to Mark, ‘Give me all your money!’ He was predisposed to do it and he came to me seeking advice.

‘His fiance Priscilla thought about education and he gave money to Newark, New Jersey, and we did a co-grant so that some of our people who had some expertise in that field could help him out.’

Zuckerberg and Chan started dating when they both attended Harvard University in 2005.
