Nearly 300,000 Left Homeless By Floods In Sri Lanka
Sri Lanka’s government says widespread floods and mudslides have killed three more people, raising the death toll from days of heavy rain to 21.
The Disaster Management Center said Thursday that the rains have affected more than a million people and that 270,000 are homeless.
Many villages in Eastern Province have been inundated and some are cut off from supplies.
I hope that help is on the way asap for these victims. If you remember correctly, everyone pitched in immediately for the victims in Haiti.
