Super Bowl XLV – Where are the Cheerleaders?
Super bowl XLV will bring all the drama of a great football game, but one key element could be missing, the cheerleaders! The Green Bay Packers and the Pittsburgh Steelers are two of just six teams in the NFL who don’t have professional cheering squads. It’s not a good feeling – the Detroit Lions don’t have cheerleaders either!
So does this mean no hotties on the sidelines for Super bowl XLV?
According to the Huffington Post – Barring a last-minute squad organization by either franchise it looks like there won’t be any cheerleaders on the sidelines for cameramen to pan across before commercial breaks during Super Bowl XLV.
This would be the first time in Super bowl history that this terrible event may occur! The other NFL teams without a cheer team are the Cleveland Browns, New York Giants, Chicago Bears and Detroit Lions.
Say it ain’t so!
FYI The Cheerleaders do much more than exist on the sidelines for cameramen to pan across before commercial breaks during the Super Bowl! They bring in a nice “chunk of change” for the NFL Teams and they are Professional Athletes and Dancers.
How many of you guys are upset that there won’t be any gorgeous cheerleaders performing at the Superbowl this year?

It is quite something to see them in action! Most of them have an extensive professional dance background. They are former gymnasts, ballet dancers, etc. The rehearsals are exhausting and require dance, gymnastics and some acrobatics.
I guarantee that the advertisers won’t be happy! Usually there is a tremendous amount of competition for those Superbowl Sunday spots. This year, I bet those Advertisers are annoyed that the viewership will suffer!
It really isn’t fair to the sponsors of the Superbowl, is it??

I have a great idea for a Superbowl commercial along these lines. It actually happened to me. You can have a drop dead gorgeous employee getting rejected bc she didn’t use a certain product and it is so insane that it is hilarious!
I am! Would have loved to see some of those special, Asian cheerleaders on the sidelines.
