Faye Wong garners praise for posting au naturel photo
Chinese diva Faye Wong afforded a rare glimpse into her daily life when she put up a photo of herself wrapped in a red blanket, hair in a mess and without an ounce of makeup on her micro-blog on Monday.
Dark eye rings were also clearly visible under her eyes. “I haven’t washed my face, there is eye-mucus residue and my face is a little swollen. P.S. Who can help me Photoshop (an image manipulation software) [away] my dark eye rings,” wrote Faye in a micro-blog post that accompanied the photo.
Her post had since attracted over 11,500 comments, the majority of which praised her for looking reasonably good without makeup and applauding her for being brave enough to show herself at her most natural. But Wong simply joked that they had completely missed the point.
Most men love it when you are au naturel. If you look like an entirely different person with makeup, something is WRONG! Ever see Oprah Winfrey without makeup?? I rest my case. A great Makeup Artist can make me look like Joan Crawford for a role if he had to. Do you know what I mean??
Most women look much younger without makeup. My man loves the way I look first thing in the morning which is very important for men if they are buying the farm!
To look great au naturel you MUST have beautiful skin, hair and teeth and be in great shape. Being thin, having beautiful bone structure and features go without saying.
