The Today Show profiled two of the child stars from the Academy

The Today Show profiled two of the child stars from the Academy Award winning movie, Slumdog Millionaire. The 8-year-old children who were taken out of Mumbai slums to star in the hit film, “Slumdog Millionaire,” are now young teenagers with very different lives. NBC’s Michelle Kosinski reports.

Interestingly, Robina Ali, the child whose father was accused of trying to sell her, is still living in the slums.
