The strongest Linc

In 2003, Hans Leo was staring to into a vacuum. It was a warehouse with 20,000 square meters of space and little else. It didn’t help that the warehouse firm was also carrying a 25 per cent loss of net profit after tax.

The scenario would’ve been more than enough to convince a high salaried vice president of sales that his MNC office was the best place to be. But Leo knew that most start-ups will have to wade through red before emerging black and blue with strength. Taking a leap of faith, he traded in his comfortable job to join a team that was tasked with restructuring and reviving an ailing logistics company in Indonesia.

“At the time, I wanted to try something new. Indonesia seemed like a land of opportunities then. Most Singaporeans are too scared to go into Indonesia, because what they see is chaos and instability. “But the reality is that being in Indonesia is slightly different from their perception. The business opportunities are really abundant, and I just had to see it for myself,” the Group CEO of Linc Group pointed out.

Another great success story about a self-made entrepreneur who took a risk because he believed in himself!

Visionaries see opportunities where most people see obstacles and chaos. It is basically a unique mind-set that most people do not possess.

It is also about making pink lemonade from lemons.
