Cassie filled in for Rocsi by co-hosting “106 & Park” alongside Terrence

Cassie filled in for Rocsi by co-hosting “106 & Park” alongside Terrence J this week. With her parents and brother in the audience, the model-turned-singer split on-air duties with a flirty Terrence and chatted about her new material, including her two mixtape tracks “Radio” and “Make You a Believer.” She also revealed that her sophomore album would arrive in early 2012, with the first single “King of Hearts” set to premiere by the end of October.

While she may be criticized for her vocal abilities, she’s determined to improve. “[I’ve been] working with vocal coaches, working really, really, really hard ’cause this is really important to me and I have a lot of great records that I’m excited for everyone to hear.”
