Faye Wong to perform in Singapore in October
Chinese pop diva Faye Wong will perform in Singapore on October 29 at the Singapore Indoor Stadium said concert promoter Running Into The Sun on their Facebook page. Running Into The Sun, which brought K-pop boy bad Super Junior to Singapore in January, said details for her concert here will be released in April.
The 41-year-old singer is one of the biggest names in the Mandopop music industry today. Wong, who is currently performing at a series of sold-out concerts in Hong Kong, took a break from showbiz in 2005 but has seen her popularity skyrocket since she made her comeback in 2010.
In October last year, massive demand for her tickets crashed a computerised ticketing system in Taiwan within a minute of offering tickets for Wong’s comeback concerts.
