Rain ended his concert tour in Seoul over the weekend with the event becoming a special gift to his fans before he enlists in the military.
Rain held the last two concerts of his “2011 Rain Tour: The Best Show” on Sept. 24 and 25 at the Seoul Olympic Park Stadium.
The singer has confirmed that he will be entering the Korean military on Oct. 11. All Korean men are required to enlist and serve in the military for two years.
At the concert, Rain performed his hit songs including “Hip Song,” “Rainism” and “How to Avoid the Sun.”
On Twitter, Rain thanked his fans for coming to the concert.
“In the last 10 years, I’ve held about 120 concerts. Thank you for coming,” he said.
The concert finale was an emotional event as it was the singer’s last stage performance before his thousands of fans.
In an interview with Korean media, Rain said he will visit his mother’s grave before he enters the military. On Oct. 11, he will enter the Uijeongbu camp where he will receive four weeks of basic military training.
Rain will be very busy in his last two weeks before Oct. 11. Korean media said Rain will have an album before his enlistment.
On Oct. 9, he will do a street performance in Apgujeong in Gangnam, Seoul.
The pop star has completed the filming of his movie “Flight: Close to the Sun” with actress Shin Se Kyung.
