Answer: Enter your company in the “Corporate Sailing League.”

Did you know that sailing can be a tool towards professional advancement?

By organizing your company team, you will meet many co-workers, come to the attention of senior management in a positive light, and maybe get invited to lunch with the President if your team wins a trophy!

All this has happened in the past. And it will happen again with the re-launch of the Corporate Sailing League.

Anyone can organize a company team. You do not need to be a great racer or even an experienced sailor. All you need is a little confidence and initiative.

Show the package to your co-workers and whoever handles your company’s other sport leagues.

Before you know it, you will be zipping around the harbor with co-workers or cheering your company team from the clubhouse.

The Corporate Sailing League will be on Thursday evenings. We will use extra sailing school boats which are anchored near the clubhouse in the harbor.

The League will focus on team-building and camaraderie. Racing will be casual with multiple short courses every evening.

Everyone at your company can participate. In addition to the racers, your company can send a team of spectators out to the clubhouse. They will enjoy the beauty of the harbor and be able to cheer for their company team.

At the end of sailing each evening, the racing and spectator teams will gather together on the floating clubhouse for the awards presentation.

These will be magical evenings, great for team building and the highlight of everyone’s summer.
