Soon-to-be married Hong Kong singer-actress Karen Mok will ‘broadcast’ from her big day ‘live’ on her micro blog.
“Staying online throughout my own wedding, I will probably be the most outrageous bride around!” said Mok with a laugh, during an interview on Monday with Hong Kong reporters at a fashion event in Milan.
Mok revealed that she is currently in the midst of preparations for her wedding to German boyfriend Johannes, which will be held on Saturday in Florence, Italy at an undisclosed venue.
The 41-year-old star said getting ready for the wedding had been exhausting work so far, but described it as a “happy kind of exhaustion”.
She added that the couple will spend the weeks after their wedding honeymooning in Europe, before she returns to Hong Kong sometime in November to hold a banquet for her friends there.
Although Mok is more than happy to share her own photos and other tidbits from her big day with the public, the singer said she did not want any paparazzi present at her wedding snapping pics.
But if they do turn up, she has already worked out a plan to deal with them.
“If the paparazzi turn up at my wedding, I’ll ply them with alcohol and get them drunk, so they cannot take photos,” said Mok.
In the set of wedding pictures that was released this month, Karen wore a white wedding gown and rode on a white horse, showing off her beautiful legs. Her fiance was missing from the pictures.
