Your gift will help care for the animal victims of Japan’s earthquake and tsunami and help protect and care for other desperate and suffering animals.

The earthquake and tsunami have taken a massive human toll; over 10,000 people have perished, many thousands more are still missing and injured, and whole towns have been wiped off the map.

Of course, many animals – dogs, cats, and farm animals – are also suffering and in need of urgent care.

At one dairy farm the team visited, surviving cows stood next to cows that had drowned during the tsunami. The surviving animals desperately need food.

Human aid agencies are hard at work helping the human survivors. It’s up to us to help animals.

Will you please help?

IFAW is working with animal relief groups in the most devastated areas, among the animals that need the most help. In addition to the survivors at the animal-specific shelters, there are also hundreds of animals at human shelters. Until basic services are restored to these devastated areas, the people and animals will be relying on the kindness of others to provide their most essential needs.

You can provide lifesaving food and care by giving what you can today to help Japan’s animal earthquake and tsunami victims and other animal victims of disaster.
