Amy Kiyota has been named executive director of the Governor’s Advisory Commission
Amy Kiyota has been named executive director of the Governor’s Advisory Commission on Asian-American Affairs. Kiyota most recently served as the Development and Marketing Manager for the Asian Arts Initiative in Philadelphia. Amy studied abroad in Asia, is fluent in Japanese, and graduated with honors in East Asian Studies. She is based in the Governor’s Southeast Office in Philadelphia.
Amy will work closely with the Governor’s Office of Public Liaison, which addresses concerns that are reported to the Governor’s Office by members of the public. The office also provides a venue for citizens’ groups and associations to share concerns about various issues impacting Pennsylvania’s diverse communities. This work is a key to Governor Corbett’s efforts to ensure state government effectively and efficiently serves the public.
