Hong Kong singer-actor Nicholas Tse and ex-wife actress Cecilia Cheung separated last year citing incompatible personalities, and now share custody of their sons Lucas and Quintus.

They even cited that their ties were beyond repair.

But a recent photograph of a smiling Cheung together with her son Lucas, ex-husband Tse and his friend, a geomancer named Mike, has sparked speculation that the two may be getting back together, reported Hong Kong media.

When asked if he planned to get back together with Cheung, Tse did not give a clear reply, only saying that they still met from time to time.

“She is still the mother of my two sons.

“We will meet no matter what. I will only say this much,” said Tse while on his way to the airport on Saturday.

Although this news has left many netizens debating whether Tse should reunite with Cheung, others found the timing of the photo’s release a little too convenient.

Skeptics believe it to be a publicity stunt for the pair’s new films, pointing out that it comes at a time when both Cheung’s “Speed Angels” and Tse’s “The Viral Factor” are about to hit cinemas across Asia.
