Yesterday, actor Madhuri Dixit Nene tweeted, “Madame Tussauds made the announcement and I am confirming it. Will be in London in March to introduce my likeness! Thanks for all your support.”
The diva is the seventh Bollywood actor to enter the world-famous wax museum after Amitabh Bachchan, Shah Rukh Khan, Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, Salman Khan, Hrithik Roshan and recently, Kareena Kapoor. Some of these actors, Madhuri describes as her “personal heroes”.
Tussauds, in a statement, said that the decision to include the award-winning actor and dancing star in that list “is set to delight Bollywood fans around the world as we are constantly inundated with requests to feature Madhuri”.
