Marchesa

Marchesa is my absolute favorite!! Marchesa is named after socialite Marchesa Luisa Casati. British born Georgina Chapman and Keren Craig met at Chelsea College of Art and Design in London. Georgina, a 2001 graduate of the Wimbledon School of Art, began her career as a costume designer. Keren graduated from Brighton Art College in 2000 and subsequently focused on print and embroidery design. Georgina’s draping and design paired with Keren’s textile creations resulted in the establishment of Marchesa in 2004. Georgina Chapman and Keren Craig are the geniuses of fashion in my opinion and obviously I am hardly alone. Lucky for me, www.renttherunway.com sometimes does feature a few of the gorgeous designs. Perhaps one day I will actually own some. Can’t wait for that to happen! I must have the dress featured at the top and the one worn by Catherine Zeta Jones. I’m a size 8 in case anyone is reading. 🙂 LOL
