Easy Smoky Eyes
For my first makeup tutorial, I thought I’d start with an easy smoky eye. Since I recently purchased a Sephora Favorites Glitz & Glam boxed set, I thought it would be the perfect opportunity to try out some new products while conducting a lesson. Two birds with one stone! 🙂
Step 1:
Start with bare eyelid.
Step 2:
Apply Buxom Stay-There Eyeshadow in Pug to upper eyelid.
Step 3:
Apply black pencil eyeliner to upper and lower lash lines.
Step 4:
Smudge black pencil eyeliner.
Step 5:
Layer Sephora Eyeshadow in Starry Sky over smudged pencil eyeliner.
Step 6:
Apply Ultraflesh Gold Standard mascara and false lashes.
To complete my face, I applied Josie Maran Argan Oil Illuminator to to my cheekbones, the bridge of my nose, and my cupids bow to give the illusion of more sculpted cheeks, a taller, thinner nose, and fuller lips. For a rosy, yet earthy flush, I applied Bare Escentuals All-Over Color in Glee to my cheeks. To finish, I applied Stila Lip Glaze in Vanilla over Smashbox Lip Liner in Smashing Muse.
The end result is a naturally luminous look with a strong, smoldering smoky eye that is perfect for a sexy night out! You don’t have to use these exact products, any similar colors will do, but the Sephora Glitz & Glam box IS on sale right now for $29, so if you’re interested, it’s a good time to buy. 😀
