Your generosity might lighten their burden.

While the loved ones of Officers Rafael Ramos and Wenjian Liu are coping with intense grief, the hardships they face can be eased by the outpouring of support from citizens the cops served.

The News started the fund Monday by donating $10,000 for each of the murdered officers’ families. In less than 24 hours, more than $40,000 had poured into the fund, with most donations ranging from $10 to $1,000. Modell’s Sporting Goods pitched in $2,500.

Every dollar donated will go directly to the families.
