Flower Pins

You can buy silk flowers or use old faux flower arrangements to make pins. You cut the flower from the stem and then glue on a pin fascinator that you can buy at a craft store. Ralph Lauren sells so many pieces for hundreds of dollars that can be copied for pennies on the dollar. The photos above is just a basic black blouse with a long black silk scarf that you can wear many different ways and even tie in a bow at the neckline. Using a flower pin, you can buy a well-fitted oxford shirt or blouse with buttoned up collar and pin the flower right in the middle of the collar. You can do the same with a basic shirtdress or sleeveless shirtdress.

I love Ralph Lauren but his prices are pretty steep. Tommy Hilfiger (aka the fake Ralph Lauren) made billions copying everything Lauren made to the last detail except the monogram and still had a price point that was too high. Why would anyone want to wear the monogram HF unless your name is something Holly Frost?? I never got that. Ralph Lauren is an icon like Chanel so I completely get that. You can add your own monogram in the same place (the upper left hand corner) and recreate a similar style.
