Marisa Sung’s Diabetic Hot Spiced Cider
Starting the beginning of October, hot spiced cider is a lovely beverage to warm us up in the cold weather! My godchildren love this beverage and it is healthy for them too! They especially love that I make it in my Williams Sonoma Copper Fondue Pot. They get all excited to see the concoction being created in this unique device! 🙂 I make it quite a bit starting from October thru February.
Ingredients:
6 cups of sugar free apple juice
2 small cinnamon sticks
8 to 10 whole cloves
1/4 tsp. grated orange grind
A few small orange slices
Steps:
Combine ingredients, except orange slices, in metal fondue pot.
Heat to serving temperature over direct to moderate flame
Ladle into mugs with an orange slice
Yield=6 servings
