Olympic figure skaters Evan Lysacek and Mirai Nagasu and their coaches will be honored during a ceremony Tuesday at the Toyota Sports Center in El Segundo.

The reception is scheduled to begin at 6 p.m., featuring presentations by city officials and a question-and-answer session with the skaters and their coaches.

The event is open to the public. Seats will be issued on a first-come, first-served basis starting at 5:30 p.m. [Updated at 12:26 p.m.: The event is free to the public.]

Lysacek won the men’s figure-skating gold medal at the Vancouver Games, and Nagasu won silver in women’s figure skating at USA Nationals, 4th in Olympics. Both skaters trained for the Olympics at the Toyota Sports Center.
