Catching up with Lee Anne Wong of Top Chef

Now that the flames have begun with Season 4 of Top Chef, we wanted to catch up with Lee Anne Wong, our favorite chef from Season 1. Has she opened her restaurant? Is she still Culinary Producer on the show? Is she still at her job at The French Culinary Institute in Manhattan? (Actually, she was at her cutting board at The French Culinary Institute as we were speaking to her over the phone)

Lee Anne has been spending time volunteering with Project by Project and Asian Women in Business. She is still Culinary Producer for Top Chef and consults on movie sets such as on the set of “No Reservations” (starring Catherine Zeta Jones) where Wong assisted in the creation of the menu and food styling for the camera and trained the cast with hands on cooking lessons, including actors Jenny Wade and Abigael Breslin, as well as kitchen extras.

A Restaurant?

Lee Anne says her own restaurant is about a decade away as she is too busy right now.

Harold's restaurant Perilla is doing really well and she said to say hello to the readers of Asiance Magazine.

  • I’m watching Top Chef right now and I definitely think Harold and Lee Anne did each other. I can see the sex in their eyes.
