Kal Penn is a role model but doesn’t want to be

Kal Penn is making a name for himself, not only among Asian American audiences but audiences worldwide. His latest film “Harold and Kumar Escape from Guantanamo Bay” is funnier than his first Harold and Kumar. We meet Kal today and were able to ask him a few questions and you'll be able to see another side of the hilarious Kal Penn.

Kal is currently starring on Fox's critically acclaimed series, “House”, as a new young doctor, Lawrence Kutner, who relates to House's unorthodox ways of approaching medicine.

You might also have seen Kal Penn in the film “The Namesake” as Gogol Ganguli, based on the novel by Pulitzer Prize winner Jhumpa Lahiri and directed by Mira Nair. The film, which won praises internationally, deals with issues of family, love, loss and struggle – the things that form the American experience.

We have a great interview with Kal as he was very candid on his perception as a role model in the Asian American community, his feelings on George Bush and who he really wants to work with in the future.
