Michelle Wie, the 20-year-old US golf star who collected her first pro triumph last November, has signed a deal with McDonald’s that will launch next month with a five-language ad campaign.

Wie, a Hawaiian LPGA Tour star of Korean heritage, will support McDonald’s USA’s education and community-based programs.

The deal was announced Monday after Wie finished filming a commercial that will air in Cantonese and Mandarin Chinese, Korean and Taglish for Filipino audiences.

“I’m thrilled,” Wie said. “I am especially proud of the message we are working to deliver together. Growing up I was taught to believe in myself, to dream big, and that success is a team effort. It’s a very important message.”

Wie captured her first pro title last November by winning the Lorena Ochoa Invitational and last August helped the United States defeat Europe in the Solheim Cup.
