Mandarin is the new Spanish

The Chinese Language School of Connecticut was founded in 2002 by by a group of committed parents, dedicated to having their children learn the Chinese language and culture. Mandarin is increasingly becoming the language of choice for parents who want to prepare their children for the changing global environment. Just ask Jim Rogers, founder of the Quantum Fund, investor, author and visionary. His 4 year old daughter speaks fluent Mandarin and English.

The Chinese Language School of Connecticut has been granted accreditation from CITA (Commission on International and Trans-Regional Accreditation) and are candidates for MSA accreditation (Middle States Association of Colleges and Schools) after an extensive evaluation process. Accreditation is based on meeting, or exceeding, the CITA Standards. Accreditation is a voluntary commitment on the part of a school or group of schools to achieve high standards, engage in a common protocol (a systematic process of school improvement), and to participate in peer review of schools. CLSC may currently be the only CITA / MSA accredited Chinese supplemental language program in the United States.

CLSC classes include Chinese Summer Camp, Private tutoring, weekday and weekend classes, Chopstix preschool classes, adult classes, Chinese Cultural classes, AP prep, Before – “ and After- School programs, special workshops, and Brown Bag and corporate language programs.
