Banned in Vietnam
Nude photography is viewed with suspicion and prejudice in Vietnam, but award winning photographer Thai Phien believes passionately in its worth. Phien has spent years shooting nude photos in a bid to prove his personal motto, “Beauty is truth”. Banned in Vietnam, this is the first public gallery exhibition in the United States. May 29, 2008 in Washington, DC at Dragonfly Design Decor, 1457 Church St NW, Washington DC. UPDATE: Due to unforeseen circumstances, the Cocktail Reception Launch of Thai Phien's work: Banned in Vietnam: Thai Phien's Figure Photography has been postponed until next Thursday, June 5th 7-10 PM.
The exhibit photos have been held up in US Customs and we are working very hard for clearance. We apologize for the last minute change & inconvenience caused.
