Chan Ho Park is set to return to the bullpen squad of the New York Yankees, after successfully pitching in the Minor League.

The 36-year-old pitched one inning in an extended spring training game in Florida, striking three out and allowing one hit.

Park threw 22 pitches, fewer than the originally planned 30, and 15 were strikes.

“My condition is really good,” Park said after his stint.

Park, who was named on the 15-day disabled list on April 17 due to a right hamstring injury, took more time in rehabilitation than expected as Yankees manager Joe Girardi told the veteran not to hurry his return.

His comeback is definitely a relief for Girardi. Park will throw rehab games tomorrow and Friday, so he could be back with the Yankees by Sunday or Monday if all goes well.
