Cindy McCain saves two Asian children
Cindy McCain has consistently worked with the poor and volunteered her time and money throughout the world, creating hope for the underprivileged. Cindy fell in love with two babies – one with a heart problem and the other with a severe cleft palate, at an orphanage in Bangladesh run by Mother Teresa. Cindy immediately decided to take both of them back to the US with her. She was primarily concerned about their medical treatment and their survival. One of the children became the McCain family's adopted daughter Bridget and the other, Nikki, was adopted by The Wes Gullett family, close friends of the McCains. Wes spoke at the Republican National Convention last night about the Nikki and Bridget story. Watch Wes, Nikki and Bridget's story below.
