One night with Angel Chang – A great American designer

New York-based fashion designer Angel Chang offers new ways of dressing for the modern fast-paced lifestyle. Her womenswear collection exploring new materials and innovative fabrics led to the prestigious Cartier Women’s Initiative Award and the Ecco Domani Fashion Foundation Award in 2007. Prior to launching her signature collection, she trained in the design studios of Donna Karan Collection, Viktor & Rolf, Marc Jacobs, contributed to fashion publications W, Vogue Hommes, Vogue.com France, and co-founded the art & culture quarterly Me Magazine. She received a BA in Art History from Barnard College and MA in Modern Art from Columbia University. Now you can spend a night with Angel and other prominent Asian Americans in an intimate setting. The Asian American Arts Alliance will be honoring New York based fashion designer Angel Chang and playwright David Henry Hwang on Friday November 7, 2008.
