Slumdog Millionaire jumps to Top Ten Movie

After five strong weeks in limited release, Danny Boyle's award-winning film SLUMDOG MILLIONAIRE expanded to more than 500 theaters nationwide this weekend and jumped into the North American Top 10 for the first time finishing number eight for the weekend. Its average gross of $5,348 was the second highest in the entire Top 10. Can't wait to see what happens at Oscar time. Slumdog beat Sean Penn's Milk and Nicole Kidman's Australia.
