Dancer Kevin Stea

You must know Kevin Stea from Madonna’s movie Truth or Dare. He was one of Madonna’s backup dancers! I definitely remember him as the sole Asian face on that tour. Kevin is Chinese and Welsh Madonna’s movie really was the beginning of reality tv which exposed backup dancers and behind the scenes of a worldwide tour to the general population. Madonna constantly mentions “my dancers” throughout the film!

Kevin went on to choreograph and dance for Michael Jackson, Prince, Ricky Martin, Janet Jackson, George Michael, David Bowie, Celine Dion, Macy Gray, Pussycat Dolls.

Now he is performing in an Indie Rock Ballet based upon J.T. Horenstein’s (choreographer) experience while serving on a jury for a 1st degree murder trial. It is a full length, story-driven theatre piece, entirely danced to a progressive, independent rock score. Horenstein is
the director and choreographer of this dynamic, entirely
original idea, leading twenty-six dancers through this dark journey of murder and intrigue.
