Boyle honored again!

Oscar-winning director Danny Boyle is to receive a civic award from his home town today.

The Slumdog Millionaire director will be awarded the Freedom of the Borough of Bury along with homegrown talent, the rock band Elbow, and the gold medal winning paralympic athlete Zoe Robinson.

Boyle, 52, was raised in Radcliffe, Bury, to the north of Manchester.

Not use to seeing him without his trademark glasses.
