Trevor Chang serves on the PbP SoCal Chapter as the Outreach Director and no matter where he is, fun and laughter follows. Trevor is an incredibly outgoing, energetic, fun, intelligent and wherever Trevor is, hilarity ensues. He is also good looking, tall, has a great job and the ladies love partying with “The Trevs!” He not only works hard and plays hard, but always cares about the community and tries to lend a helping hand anyway he can.
Trevor Chang currently works in Real Estate Private Equity based in Los Angeles. Growing up, Trevor learned that his great grandfather rented a warehouse in Hong Kong in the early 1900s to the Shaw Brothers, fostering the creation of the kung fu film industry. The concept of real estate as a place for people to do productive & amazing things stuck with him and over the years, partly from family influences and partly from his desire to make a lasting impact on the world. That belief drew Chang in throughout college & upon graduation, he jumped into the business of making run-down and distressed properties more valuable both to business and to society.
One of his favorite past projects at a previous firm is the conversion of one of Howard Hughes’s hangars into a multi-level creative office complex. What had previously been an empty warehouse with occasional film productions is currently being transformed into a city of creatives that could be a significant starting point for future industries, much like his grandfather’s warehouse many generations ago. Wow!

The Energizer Bunny
On his first kiss: During my first summer fling after I had just started middle school. We were in different summer camp groups and had gone from passing secret glances to chatting about camp to eating our meals together and holding hands despite the cooties myth. After a couple days, one night, we spent a few hours by the campfire and were saying our nightly goodbyes when it happened. I was awkward, she was awkward; it was great.
On a perfect date: We’d sip Mint Juleps on the Columns Hotel porch on a summery afternoon in New Orleans, take the trolley car to the historic Commander’s Palace’s the prix fixe dinner menu, and listen to unabridged hot American jazz as it was first invented to sound at Preservation Hall. After the first act, we’d hop into a waiting towncar and grab Cafe Dumond’s benigets to-go enroute to our waiting private Cessna Citation X pre-cleared for take-off to Los Angeles [‘perfect’, right? ;)]
Thanks to the time difference, we’d arrive into early nightlife by grabbing a few drinks at the Villains Tavern and joke how some bouncers actually look like cartoon villains and transition to craft cocktails in the Engine Room at the Prohibition-era Edison Lounge. If we played our cards right, we’d snag In-N-Out Double-Doubles to-go & hop back to LAX pre-cleared into our comfy Cathay Pacific First Class beds, chase the sun, and wake up in a Shanghainese afternoon with incredible cuisine, revitalized Asian urban culture, a live Far East Movement concert if we’re lucky, and each other.

I’m not a huge celeb tracker, but I wouldn’t mind dating Zooey Deschanel. Not your typical celeb, modest, multi-talented, interesting, and consciously “doesn’t want to be a babe”.
