‘Naked chef’ to debut on Hong Kong adult channel
A Hong Kong adult channel is set to debut a cooking show headlined by a nude host who will prepare Cantonese dishes wearing a transparent apron – an apparent bid to encourage more men to cook.
The British Version of ‘The Naked Chef’
Host Flora Cheung will start each 30-minute show shopping for fresh ingredients in the city’s famous wet markets, undressing once she is back in the privacy of her studio kitchen, the South China Morning Post reported.
Cheung, who admits she has never worked in a restaurant kitchen, said she hopes the risque show will draw more men into the kitchen. The first episode is set to air later this month.
“I have always liked cooking and I thought I should share (the) enjoyment with more people,” the 26-year-old told the Post.
“Most men don’t like to cook, but I want to get them interested… From shopping to cooking – it’s the whole shebang,” Cheung added. The host promised that her tailor-made, transparent apron won’t leave much to the imagination.
If you have a smokin’ body, you can teach men to perform just about anything in the nude, including rocket science!

Oh, the sacrifices you have to make to ensure that men can learn to feed themselves! LOL
Jamie Oliver is funny and I do like some of his recipes like the berry elderflower yogurt recipe. It is quite healthy too!
The concept of looking very sexy in the kitchen while preparing a meal like a chef is nothing new. Men love that!
I love it when I prepare something that people rave about at a dinner party. It gives you a sense of great satisfaction.
Ladies, if you don’t know how to cook LEARN!
That reminds me of a popular cooking show in TVB (www.tvb.com) in Hong Kong called Beautiful Cooking (????; literally, “Beautiful Girl’s Kitchen”), hosted by Ronald Cheng (???), Edmond Leung (???), and Alex Fong (???). The exception will be, of course, a different show host with near nudity.
As an ardent supporter of TVB, I personally hope this nude cooking show will NEVER be broadcasted in free-broadcasting TV stations, especially TVB Jade & ATV Local channels. If TVB Jade does this, TVB will be heavily criticized and this will end TVB’s operation as the longest free-broadcasting TV station in Hong Kong. If ATV Local does this, then TVB will be under serious competition with ATV while keeping the title as the king of TV broadcasting in Hong Kong, but nevertheless ATV will be under fire for sure in the long run and, hence, ends ATV’s operation as well.
That leaves with cable TV broadcasting stations, which require viewers to pay for subscription fee. If a cable TV station wants to air this show, good luck to the station, but this will be an arduous one since sexuality is still a taboo in Hong Kong, although not as intense as in mainland China.
