The Dragon’s Gift - The Sacred Arts of Bhutan
San Francisco's Asian Art Museum opened up its latest exhibition, The Dragon’s Gift: The Sacred Arts of Bhutan, on February 20, 2009 with Buddhist ritual observances led by Bhutanese monks currently in residence, as well as a ribbon cutting ceremony.
The exhibition is the first of its kind to focus on Bhutan's Buddhist culture, with many of the objects on display remaining in ritual use in temples and monasteries and having never before been accessible to a Western audience until now.

Academy of Art show students
Since 2005, the School of Fashion at Academy of Art University in San Francisco has showcased collections of recent graduates during Mercedes-Benz New York Fashion Week. Raised in Hong Kong, Chinese actress Elizabeth Sung's long and distinguished career has taken her from The Juilliard School to Hollywood.
She has played memorable supporting and starring roles in films and on television, including Memoirs of a Geisha, The Joy Luck Club, China Beach and The Young and the Restless. More recently, she was seen portraying the mom in director Jessica Yu's hilarious Asian American family comedy Ping Pong Playa.

Suwha Hong - Fashion Designer
Suwha Hong was born in Korea and traveled back and forth to the United States as a child. Like most Asian women, Suwha chose the classic Asian career path. She pursued a career in Law, graduating Cornell Law School, eventually practicing Corporate Law in New York City.
Soon, her creative side got the best of her, causing Suwha to quit her job, travel, then settle in London to start a design career.
