USA’s 400 medley relay was disqualified after winning the gold medal at the FINA World Swimming Championships in Barcelona, Spain today.

Our team consisted of Matt Grevers (backstroke), Kevin Cordes (breaststroke), Ryan Lochte (butterfly) and Nathan Adrian (freestyle). Nathan Adrian, of course turned in an outstanding split of 46.69. Kevin Cordes took off too early, disqualifying #TeamUSA. Such a bummer for us and such a bummer for Nathan!

France won the gold in 3:31.51, followed by Russia in 3:31.64 and Japan in 3:32.26.

Can’t wait until #Rio2016 for Nathan to get back what he deserves! Also, PLEASE Michael, please come back!!
